Maharashtra deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday confronted a protest by unemployed kids in Nanded demanding reopening of police recruitment. The police used a “delicate lathi cost” to disperse the protestors.

The incident occurred within the backdrop of an issue over the state dropping USD 20 billion Vedanta-Foxconn undertaking and 30,000 crore bulk drug park undertaking to Gujarat which might have created 1000’s of jobs within the state.
